Arrived!

I arrived in Ghana yesterday at about 130 pm Ghana time and 630 pm western time.  We had people from the UCEAP program waiting our arrival once we passed through customs.  We all loaded on to a bus and drove to the University.   The campus is so beautiful and there are people walking around everywhere.  The first 2 weeks of the program are a mandatory orientation, I guess they are kind of easing us into everything and then we will be on our own unless we go seek help! Power outtages are definitely going to occur often I can tell.  Last night i was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and no one else was there.  All of the sudden it went pitch black and I could barely see a thing.  I had to walk back to my dorm room and get my flash light. Luckily the lights came on about an hour later.  This morning the water also went out.  Probably will be taking lots of bucket baths during the next 5 months, but thats okay! Im really excited to start school and be able to go explore.  I will try to update this as much as possible however you must pay for internet, so im going to pay for it per hour for now until i find out where my permanent residence will be.
